The artist: 'Individual 'Telepaths' sometimes accompany my paintings – posing as a means of meta-communication, their slight absurdity of purpose is doomed to failure, nevertheless, they are instrumental to seeing...The artist: "Individual 'Telepaths' sometimes accompany my paintings – posing as a means of meta-communication, their slight absurdity of purpose is doomed to failure, nevertheless, they are instrumental to seeing scale, and are an image in three-dimensions. They are constructed from very basic materials - largely, brown paper, pvc tape, wire, and some found pieces. Their poverty of materials is playful, and empathetic to their being perceived as mirroring a felt relationship to the paintings."
