The artist - 'I have visited this section of the Holy Sepulchre Church, in Alquds, Jerusalem for decades. It’s a peaceful quiet part of the Christian Quarter. Though the bustling streets are just beyond the walls, it is a quiet spot, full of trees and birds and a place for contemplation. The Back of the main church, it hosts the poorest and oldest part of Orthodox Christianity. '
