Catherine Hammerton is an award winning and celebrated Welsh paper Artist. Catherine’s practice centres on botanical sculptures inspired by common lands reimagined from childhood. Using wild flora as visual metaphors, her work examines matrilineal lineages, our sense of community and belonging – hiraeth – alongside plant lore traditionally shared by women.
