Joseph Weisberg

The artist: I focus on documenting people in public spaces, overlooked objects, and the textures of urban infrastructure. I often take photos in cities, where I walk for hours with no real destination, letting sunlight, activity, and the instinct of being drawn somewhere influence where I go. I'm drawn to people being themselves in public, their story that day, trying to capture their spirit in time. 'Self-Reflection' was taken in Marseille on Plage du Prophète, August 2024.
