Will Roberts

Will Roberts is a video artist based in London. His film ‘Angel’ presents a year in the life of a tube station escalator. It aims to transform the viewer's perception of commuting, encouraging them to find grace and poetry in everyday movements and chance encounters within urban spaces. By focusing on the myriad interactions that take place on a busy escalator, ‘Angel’ offers viewers a reflection on the diversity of lives that intersect in public spaces and the unnoticed spectacle of daily life in a city.
