Shortlisted entry for ‘Café in the Square’ architectural competition from Glasgow City Council 2018. Our submission made the case for a more comprehensive urban design analysis of the area around and including George Square, rather than simply a design of an isolated pavilion. Our entry triggered GCC to rethink their public space policy. No winner was announced. A much later competition with a different brief was won by John McAslan RSA and is now under construction
