In the winter of 2004, a group of Chinese cockle pickers lost their lives in the cold waters of Morecambe Bay after being caught unaware by fast-rising tides and the bay's treacherous geographic conditions. This composite drawing explores an engineered architecture comprising a memorial to this disaster, an RNLI lifeboat station, and a survival training pool located in Blackpool, England. Together, these elements aim to educate coastal communities about marine dangers and raise public awareness of coastal risks. The drawing was developed through an intricate digital process, uniting plan, section, and cutaway axonometric into a single narrative. All architectural elements were precisely modelled in Rhino for detailed spatial coordination and the generation of linework. The cutaway axonometric was rendered in V-Ray to reveal the project's layered logic, from the tidal movement of the training pool to sculpted light through memorial and the lifeboat station's translucent facade
