Antedote (Villa Moisi) is the outcome of a spatial thought experiment; in this case an investigation, re-imagining and enjoyment of planes, movement and sequences in Loos' unbuilt villa at Venice Lido. The creative process tested robustness in the underlying spatial DNA of the original design through scalar manipulation and elementary crafting. The resulting piece addresses personal subject-based reservations while making room to explore and extend value-ambitions in targeted areas, beyond norms of conventional architectural expectation.
