Changing Ideas Award
Molly is attending the local art fair where her mother is performing modern dance. Molly has been deeply influenced by her mother’s art since a very young age. Being involved in art allows her, as with any child, to understand and learn about different cultures, traditions, practices, and historical contexts, fostering a sense of appreciation and respect for diversity of the world. A lifelong love of art and the open-mindedness that it brings can lead to projects for social change and cultural enrichment.
