The artist: "Inspired from a project developed through the pandemic, Luminance is a glimpse of a still green outdoor space where light and shadows are the subject of the photograph itself as much as the content. It was exciting to chance upon the way both ordinary views and curious objects and scenes appear in the light depending on the time of day. Here the magical atmosphere of the late summer afternoon sun gave me a sense of optimism and tranquillity."
