Lotta Wald

Lotta Wald graduated with a first-class honours degree in Painting from Gray’s School of Art in 2024. She received the Caram Trust Award in 2022, the RGU Art and Heritage Award and the Daniel John Steven Bequeath Award for Excellence in Painting in 2024 and was selected for RSA New Contemporaries 2025. 

Her practice explores the beauty of uncertainties and ambiguities of the subjective experience. 

Moving between the real and surreal, Lotta is creating non-linear narratives which embrace the strange beauty of the unknown and allowing open questions to build new ways of seeing and creating.
