Marnie Clark

Marnie Clark is a cross-disciplinary artist based in Glasgow. She uses her work as a tool to process her complex feelings surrounding the industry she finds herself in. Through the creation of self-reflexive work, primarily in film and the written word, she hopes to find assurance.

‘Frames’

Frames is the artist’s attempt at physically recreating the act of playing a video- she holds image after image of a movement up to the viewer before each one is discarded to mimic the frames that make up a film.

‘GET BACK ON THE HORSE’

‘GET BACK ON THE HORSE’ was originally a poem, written by the artist during a period of uncertainty and disillusionment with her work. Here, her words are translated into film.
