Olive Dean

I originally trained in painting at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating BA Hon in 1989. I have exhibited in various exhibitions in UK, but in the past few years have practiced alternative photography (pre- digital) mainly using techniques from the 19th century. 

This Polaroid photo is of a lace -cap hydrangea from the garden. I moved the camera very slightly to create a slightly blurred close up, and secondly, removed the round mount on the print as an experiment (which worked for me).
