Allan Ramsay

Allan Ramsay attended figure drawing classes at Edinburgh College of Art from 1978-1982.  He then studied drawing and painting at the Glasgow School of Art from 1982-1986 and at the Art Students League in New York.

In 1988 he won first prize at the Portrait Award at the National Gallery in London

He has exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, the National Portrait Gallery, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal Academy.
