Zou Peizheng

Set within the remains of a historic church in England, this project proposes a writer’s retreat that preserves the existing fabric while introducing a new structural framework. Through the insertion of an independent frame, two distinct spatial conditions are established, allowing new inhabitation to coexist with the retained architectural shell. The drawing focuses on the relationship between structure and enclosure, revealing construction as a spatial and temporal negotiation.
