Deane Hodgson

Having produced analogue collages for several years, Deane Hodgson’s latest work furthers his exploration of re-purposing materials within his art.

His multi-layered wall sculptures largely comprise discarded wood off-cuts from CNC machines. The relief compositions experiment with light and form, creating works rich with both depth and pattern.

Bringing to mind the work of artists including Victor Pasmore and Louise Nevelson, the contemporary geometric pieces evoke anything from the inner workings of industrial machinery to three-dimensional architectural models.
